So...What's the 'PIT' and why do I want to be in it?
Mainly...Because you're smart and you know once you come out of The 'PIT', you will be completely ready for college and/or a good career. Principles of Information Technology (PIT) deals with managing business information. At first, you learn how to use the Microsoft Office software suite. Then you dig into researching careers, applying for jobs, creating resumes and cover letters, financial planning, paying taxes, creating spreadsheets, designing databases for address books and solving crimes, designing logos, creating business cards, setting up websites, making commercials, and finally organizing all these artifacts into an e-Portfolio you can build on through your years of life-long learning.
In other words, the 'PIT' is the place to be!
I am glad you chose "The PIT" as a class offering. You will be glad you did when you start college. There is no class that prepares you any better for the rigorous assignments you will encounter in college.

People may not notice these words when they're there, but if you forget to use them, you'll come across looking disrespectful and ungrateful. Give Up? These very powerful words are: “Please” and “Thank You”. Please take my advice. You'll thank me later. Wider ScopeOrganizations connected to these courses: (Click title links to view pages)

How to Tie a TieAll young men are required to wear ties for the BPA Conferences. To get in the habit, members have suggested having a Business Professional's Day once a month so all the members are dressed professionally when they conduct and attend the meetings. BPA Meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month.
